Art Work

Lots of people love doing artwork at school. Students from all different year groups, have done some amazing work, here are a few examples.

The Sky Above

This piece of work is made with flicks of paint scattered everywhere. It was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry night. She used paint and pastels to make details on her masterpiece. I think Mauve should be very happy with the work she has created.

The Night of the Angels

This piece of work is made with colourful pastels and lots of colour to it! This art was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry night, as part of our space week. While Vincent Van Gogh would have not used the colours she did, we think she should be very proud of herself.

A Starry Night, 4FM

Alexia used a mix of acrylic paint, and oil pastel to make her piece of artwork. Again inspired by Vincent Van Gogh. She copied Vincent’s style and did an excellent job. She was very sensible and re-drew the basic Starry Night main outline first. We think Van Gogh would have loved it!

A Starry Space, 6JB

She used pastel colours to make her master peice. For the hills she used green and yellow mixed together without using just one colour. She also drew two aliens (pink and blue). To us that is the perfect symbol of friendship. Even in outer space…

Sky above, 6KC

Heused pastels and black sugar paper to create the art inspired by Vincent Van Gogh. He drew close detail to the real painting Starry night so there was a small but big element to it! There is a small steeple like the ones from France even though Vincent was in Norway!

Starry Night II, Pupil 4FM

This is an excellent mixed media recreation of Starry Night don’t you think? The black outlines were added at the very end and really help to make the shape of the background and foreground stand out.
